Welcome

We welcome you to the Sun City West Republican Club website. If you are a member, this is the place to get up-to-date information on upcoming meetings and events. If you are a visitor have a look around and find out what we do, and how we do it. From September to June we meet on the first Saturday of the month and enjoy some coffee, pastries, a speaker and some camaraderie with fellow Republicans. (Likely meeting through the summer in 2024.)

Our meetings are the first Saturday of the month. Doors open at 8:00 a.m.  Coffee, donuts and social time begins at 8:30 a.m. with the call to order at 9:00 a.m.
Meetings are carefully planned to finish by 10:30 a.m.

 As of June 2022, no charge for current paid members; $3 donation for guests which helps defer the cost of the room.  You may be a guest as many times as you wish, but annual membership is a better support of the club.

(Meeting location only, no mail please)

The Church on the Green is located "behind" the Walgreens at Johnson and Camino Del Sol.  While you can enter from either road, it may be easier to enter from Camino Del Sol, then drive past the Walgreens building on your left.  The Church will be "dead ahead".

Recent Club News

The amendments to the Club's Bylaws were approved by the membership at our Monthly Meeting on April 6th.  A few additional amendments are in process and will be voted on at the May meeting.  Be sure to review the proposed changes prior to the May meeting.   Click in the display box in the righthand column. There was a typo fixed on April 9th.

Save the Date!

Special pre-primary Candidates Forum, Saturday, June 22.
We will be invting all candidates who will appear on the July Republican primary ballot.  It will be held in the auditorium at Palm Ridge Recreation Center.

Because of the number of speakers and audience members  we need
volunteers to help on June 22nd.  Greet, help with mobility issues, refreshment service, raffle ticket sales, and clean up.  Can you assist?   Please contact Linda Barnes at VicePresident@SCWrepublicans.com     .

May 4th Meeting

Our next meeing will be held on Saturday, May 4th, at 9:00am at the Church on the Green.  Social time is 8:30 with coffee and donuts.  Doors open at 8:00. Paid-up members are admitted without a donation. A three dollar donation will be accepted at the door for non-members which helps pay for the room rental.

This meeting will once again highlight candidates running in the Republican Primary election in July.

This month there will be three main speakers:
Debbie Lesko and Dr. Robert Branch are competing for the Republican nod for Maricopa County Supervisor -  District 4 which includes SCW. Our third speaker, Rene Lopez, is running for AZ Corporation Commission.

All Republicans and Independents from the Sun Cities and the surrounding areas are welcome attend our meetings.
